The world's first 150,000-ton-class intelligent aquaculture vessel which was developed by Qingdao Conson Group, the Guoxin 2-1, was officially delivered and put into operation at China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited's (CSSC) Beihai Shipbuilding on the morning of April 17. Deputy Chief of the CPC Qingdao Municipal Committee and Director of the Qingdao United Front Work Department Zhang Hui attended the ceremony.

The Guoxin 2-1 is an upgraded version of the Guoxin 1, the world's first 100,000-ton-class aquaculture vessel. Featuring more than 160 technical breakthroughs and innovations across functional layout, farming systems, renewable energy utilization, and integrated information technology, the vessel adopts an onboard tank farming model to raise premium species such as large yellow croaker, salmon, and yellowtail amberjack. With a designed annual output of around 3,600 tonnes of high-quality fish, it marks a new phase in the standardized and replicable development of China's deep-sea aquaculture vessel industry.

Following the ceremony, a deep-sea aquaculture industry advisory meeting was held by experts from Qingdao Conson was held in the city, simultaneously with the “Conson Aquatic Products • Yuxianfang" Brand Innovation and Development Conference.
